Pawl, a space human capable of dreaming, is expelled from the Ark that is carrying humanity towards eternal life. His unconscious crime is having desired the Earth humanity has abandoned – a place he has imagined thanks to his mother’s invented stories. Back on Earth, condemned to living a mortal existence, Pawl must face the fears that are inherent in an earthly life: the fear of abandonment, of solitude and, especially, the Fog that envelopes him.
Only after cutting the rope he’d tied himself to in order to survive will he truly live the freedom of choosing life again, even as he aware of the tragic moment of his death.
