Gaia and her dad are lying on the bed, it’s time to go to sleep, but Gaia doesn’t want to sleep that night. So she convinces him to tell her a story, a special story, a story of tigers drinking merlot.
The tigers are a female tug-of-war team born in the mountains of Friuli, which has always competed against teams of men. Among glasses of wine and village festivals, among earthquakes and problems with their husbands, the team even reaches television and from there begins to tour the village festivals throughout Italy.
In the meantime, Gaia falls asleep and in her dream she meets, in a clearing in the woods, the spirit of the caged tiger. She seems to be the only one who can see him, and perhaps the only one who can free him. All she needs is a little courage.
