Pioneers is a television series made of personal and intimate portraitsof contemporary scientists around theworld featuring our future in the new era: Anthropocene – the era of mankind. One animal species is disappearing from the planet every 20 minutes. This is an irreversible process. Wecannot control it but we can do something about it.Who are the men and the women that are giving solutions to the Antropocene’s puzzle? What is their lifelike? What do motivate them? Which are their actions and inventions? Where do they have an impact? Which are their doubts and fear? What is these people vision for our future?The series will show closely the state of the art of contemporary science and enter intimate feelings of the human being shaping it.
